A house born of detail
AVÉOR began with a simple idea: an accessory can change the look of an outfit without ever overshadowing it.

Why AVÉOR
A scarf knotted at the neck, worn in the hair or tied to a bag handle. A gold-tone piece of jewellery chosen as a familiar detail, the kind you no longer take off. AVÉOR was born of those gestures: the ones that change an outfit in seconds, without ever taking the place of the person wearing it.
We wanted pieces made to accompany everyday life rather than to wait for a special occasion. Accessories worn on a Tuesday morning as much as on a Saturday night, which end up becoming part of a way of dressing.
That is what the line opening our shop says, in a few words: elegance is worn in the details. Everything else follows from it — the choice of materials, the care taken over finishing, the way a silk square is paired with a piece of jewellery.
We rarely remember a whole look. We remember a detail.
The design before the scarf
At AVÉOR, a scarf begins with an image. Botanical, mineral or celestial, each composition is worked like a square painting: its subject chosen, its colours balanced, its borders and proportions composed, long before the design meets the silk.
A square is looked at flat, but worn folded, knotted, crumpled. A good design has to hold up in both cases: beautiful when spread out, legible when only a corner shows, at the neck or in the hair. That double demand guides every composition.
Then comes the material: mulberry silk twill, printed on both sides so that no reverse fades, and finished with a hand-rolled hem.

Our scarves do not carry numbers. Each design has a name, and each tells something: the night-time reflections of a pond, a herbarium plate turned dream, the stars woven into the façades of Paris, the gesture of calligraphy, the veins of a precious stone, the flight of a bird of paradise.
These stories continue in our Journal, where each design will have its own page: where it comes from, what it evokes, how to wear it. And from there, to the piece itself.

L'Ombre du Nymphéa
The night-time reflections of a pond, the depth of water beneath the leaves. Half-abstract aquatic forms stand out against a dark ground, and, folded to a point, the square plays the contrast of golden glints against the night close to the face.
Midnight blue, emerald, golden glints, bishop's violet · Emerald rolled hem

Architectures Célestes
Where ancient astronomy meets Haussmann façades. Geometric curves interlace with fine engravings of the stars, and the strongly structured border frames the collar when the square is tied as a cravat.
Rosy beige, terracotta, ivory, bronze and cobalt lines · Bronze rolled hem

Le Botaniste Absolu
A classic botanical plate, reinvented with a touch of surrealism: an imaginary flora, engraved with a goldsmith's precision. Each of the four corners carries a different flower, so the square changes character depending on how it is folded.
Sage green, off-white, mustard, touches of carmine · Carmine rolled hem

Poussière d'Or sur l'Encre
The gesture of Chinese ink calligraphy, heightened with gold-leaf effects. A great wave of ink crosses the square diagonally: one side very dark, the other very light, making two squares in one depending on how it is tied.
Black, pure white, mineral grey, gold-leaf effect · Black rolled hem

Opéra Minéral
Cross-sections of precious stones — agate, lapis lazuli — and Venetian marbled paper. The colours intertwine in long, soft lines, and once tied around the neck the square takes on a particularly rich, warm drape.
Burnt sienna, ochre, petrol blue, lilac · Petrol-blue rolled hem

Volatile en Majesté
The plumage of birds of paradise and the movement of flight. Feathers unfold from the centre towards the edges in finely detailed texture, while the heart of the square stays calm so it can be worn flat over the shoulders without ever feeling busy.
Deep plum, powder pink, champagne, forest green · Powder-pink rolled hem
The dialogue between silk and jewellery
We did not want to think of the scarf on its own. AVÉOR imagines a silhouette instead: the light of a piece of jewellery against the skin, the colour of silk near the face, and the way the two can answer each other.
A sun pendant glimpsed beneath an open square; a crescent moon echoing the stars of a celestial design; a gold chain underlining the gold thread of a print. That is why our jewellery is gold-tone — 316L stainless steel with an 18K gold PVD coating: to converse with the warm tones of our silks, and to be worn every day without a second thought.
And that is why our gift sets bring the two together: not a scarf and a piece of jewellery set side by side, but a chosen pairing, ready to be worn.
A silhouette is not piled up: it is composed.

Paris, as an undercurrent
Paris appears at AVÉOR without necessarily showing itself. In a palette, an architecture, a contrast; in a way of pairing a strong piece with a simple silhouette. It even runs through our designs: the curves of Architectures Célestes owe as much to Haussmann façades as to star charts.
The city inspires the house's world: its pale stone façades, its Haussmann lines, its wrought-iron balconies, its gardens — and that elegance which often works best when it isn't trying to be noticed.
Paris does not show itself: it is sensed.
